The Ciampinoi cable car offers the following possibilities for you:

  • the ski slopes Ciampinoi 3 and 4 which end in front of our Boutique Hotel B&B Arya Alpine Lodge in Val Gardena
  • the ski slopes Ciampinoi 5 and 6 to Plan de Gralba to drive into the Piz Sella area. The ski slope "Gran Paradiso" allows you to carve extra wide turns... a dream. The "Sotsaslong" chairlift also offers a beautiful slope and even a boarder cross slope for skiers and snowboarders which is worth mentioning. Parallel to it you’ll find the Comici chairlift, where there is a super-large fun park for children with obstacles, snow-covered cars, jumps and big air jumps.
  • In the ski area Sochers, you can find the World Cup Downhill Slope „Saslong“, which starts out directly at the top station of the Ciampinoi cable car. The ski slope left of the „Sochers“ chairlift (looking down towards the valley at the „Sochers“  top station) is another must to my mind... here you can also carve nice turns on a short but intensive run. You really should continue down the FIS Downhill slope „Saslong Classic“. A beautiful alternative to this is given by the “B slope“ which will lead you past the Fischburg Castle. As you arrive at the bottom you could choose to continue by using the underground funicular railway „Gardena Ronda Express“ in the direction of Seceda. The best time of the day to visit Seceda is in my opinion lunch time, because in the morning all skiers from Ortisei drive down Seceda to get into the Sella Ronda and therefore you’ll find crowded slopes.

The Dantercepies cable car, which you can reach via Costabella chairlift, takes you into the direction of Passo Gardena to Dantercepies. Three beautiful slopes lead back to Selva again, one of it is a must: the CIR ladies’ downhill slope of the 1970 Ski World Championships. It leads you down underneath the Cir mountain range into Vallunga, not far away from the castle ruins of the Counts of Wolkenstein who gave our village its German name.

Dantercepies is part of the „green“ Sella Ronda (clockwise tour) and it offers the possibility to drive down to Colfosco and enjoy a few slopes of the Edelweiß Valley.

„Many regular guests love our house also because of its outstanding strategic position which makes a skiing holiday without a car possible.“
