The white ski slopes and skilifts of the Sella Ronda right at our doorsteps! … the snow-covered Dolomites under gloriously blue sky in your sight and the pleasant, warming sunrays in your face: this is how you can enjoy your winter holiday in Selva di Val Gardena in South Tyrol. The Sellaronda is a wonderful panoramic ski route where you drive around the Sella Massif over four mountain passes with your skis and by using cable cars and chairlifts to get back to the starting point again.

Our Boutique B&B Hotel is ideally located at the feet of the Ciampinoi ski slopes, in the centre of Selva / Wolkenstein at the end of the ski slope leading from Plan de Gralba back to Selva. Practically speaking, the Sella Ronda passes right in front of our house. The skiers and snowboarders have the possibility to start out for the SELLARONDA (26 km of slopes with your skis on), the world-renowned ski carousel around the Sella Massif to get into the neighbouring Ladin Dolomites valleys and return back home still with their skis on, totally without using a ski bus and all in one day.

Also the ski tour to Malga-Ciapela-Marmolada (Punta Rocca 3265 m), the ski tour of the First World War, the ski tour to Lagazuoi and Falzarego (2742 m), to the Cinque Torri in Cortina d'Ampezzo, to the Pilgrimage Church of Santa Croce (2045 m) or to the „Gran Risa“ slope (venue of the World Cup slalom race) can be done in one day.

You can choose between the green (clockwise) or the orange (anti-clockwise) Sella Ronda.

In order to start the Green Sella Ronda you just have to walk over the pedestrian steel bridge round the corner which takes you to the Costabella chairlift and you continue in the direction of Dantercepies, Corvara / Colfosco / Alta Badia. The Orange Sella Ronda can comfortably be started by using the Ciampinoi cable car. The return to Garni Hotel Arya Alpine Lodge is always, for both tour directions, on skis and never by car or bus.
